Most recently, Alec was a Vice President with Stockbridge Capital Group in San Francisco, focused on the acquisition and development of commercial real estate assets across all property types and yield strategies throughout West Coast markets. In that role, Alec led approximately $1bn in transactions, including the firm’s first life science acquisition, logistics infrastructure portfolio acquisition, and programmatic joint venture.
Prior to Stockbridge, Alec led real estate acquisitions, development, and asset management functions for Laird Norton Properties, a seventh-generation Seattle-based family office. Before working with LNP, Alec spent over four years with PGIM Real Estate’s San Francisco-based acquisitions group. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in finance from the University of Washington.
A proud native Seattleite, Alec considers himself quad-coastal having lived in San Francisco’s North Beach, Los Angeles’s South Bay, and on both sides of Lake Washington. When not focused on urban life, history, and development, he enjoys surfing, sailing, and backpacking across the American West.
