His work focuses on the design and production of timber building systems and their adoption by architects and designers. Most recently, Andrew worked as an advanced manufacturing engineer at A Zahner Company where he helped lead the creation of digital tools and physical shop workflows that enabled the fabrication of cutting edge custom architectural facades.
Andrew holds a Master of Architecture degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a BS in Architectural Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. His research focused on the intersection of designing and making, and resulted in the production of numerous diverse artifacts; all the way from bottle openers to buildings. He enjoys spending time outdoors, reading about design and technology, and making things of all shapes and sizes.
