Before Sidewalk, she led sustainability for Google's New York City campus.
Emily has spent 12 years in New York City as a pervasive advocate for sustainability, working on everything from the Brooklyn Botanical Visitor Center to sky-rise financial institutions. She has been active on USGBC local and national boards; worked on New York City's Zero Waste Design Guidelines; served on the High Line Pneumatic Waste Advisory Board; co-chaired the Energy Metering and Operations working group for the Mayor's Office of Sustainability; and won an Energy New York Award (ENYA) from the New York Energy Consumer Council.
Emily is originally from Colorado. She loves to travel, explore culture through cooking classes, and take advantage of New York City summertimes.
