Michael is also the founder of Partners Path Capital, a multifamily investment office that focuses on real estate and specialty private equity transactions. Prior to Partners Path, Michael was Senior Vice President of Development and Business Affairs for the Tampa Bay Rays, where he was part of a core management team that turned around what had been one of the most moribund franchises in professional sports.
Michael previously worked in Mayor Bloomberg's office as a senior advisor to the New York City Deputy Mayor for Economic Development. In that capacity, he managed relations between the Mayor’s Office and the city’s Economic Development Corporation, coordinated area-wide planning and economic development initiatives through the five boroughs, and served as the city's point person for the development of the new Yankee Stadium, CitiField, and the Barclays Center.
Before joining the Bloomberg Administration, Michael was a management consultant with McKinsey and Company where he focused on addressing both strategic and operating issues for media and telecommunications firms.
Michael received his BA in Political Science and Urban Studies from Brown University and his JD from Harvard Law School. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two children.
