He advocates for a radical rethinking of the tools used to create a more just and equitable society, and believes that technology paired with inclusive design and engagement can disrupt the sector for the better.
Prior to joining Sidewalk, Nick was an Associate at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in the Washington, DC office. There, he partnered with clients to provide solutions in strategic operations and business modeling on a variety of topics including healthcare strategy, corporate social responsibility, and renewable energy. While at BCG, Nick sought an externship with Planned Parenthood, where he led the development of a suite of digital geospatial tools and leveraged data analytics to direct market strategy for healthcare operations. Nick started his career abroad, pursuing social ventures in Brazil and Kenya, aligning design research to social change.
Nick holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering and sustainable development from Washington University in St. Louis, where he researched the role community engagement played in housing upgrading programs in Brazilian favelas. He enjoys experimenting with plant-based recipes, getting lost biking in cities, and discovering new musicians across genres.
