
Eric was a Designer-in-Residence at Sidewalk Labs.
Prior to joining Sidewalk, Eric served as the Design Lead for a Special Projects group at Google focused on innovation in urban infrastructure and the built environment.
Prior to Google, Eric was a Senior Interaction Designer at frog, leading a number of client engagements across the fields of Hospitality, Healthcare, and Financial Services, as well as spearheading a thought leadership initiative called Aging in Place, focused on immersive home technology for seniors.
Before his time at frog, Eric was the GE research fellow at MIT’s Senseable City Lab, a designer at Foster+Partners in London, and a nominee for the Prix de Rome. Originally from Calgary, Canada, Eric has a B.Sc in Enivronmental Science from the University of Calgary, a M.Arch from Dalhousie University and a M.Des from Harvard University.
