Pebble Driver by Sidewalk Labs Mobile Application Privacy Policy


Pebble Driver (formerly Coord) by Sidewalk Labs is a mobile application that helps delivery and service vehicle drivers and other professional drivers find and book Smart Zones for safe, legal parking, standing, and stopping (“Smart Zones”), as well as finding other legal spots on the curb, so they can make stops more smoothly, save time, and avoid tickets (the “App”).

This Mobile Application Privacy Policy explains how information about individuals is collected, used and disclosed by Sidewalk Labs LLC and its affiliates including Google LLC (together “our,” “we” or “us”) through the App. In addition, the Pebble by Sidewalk Labs Privacy Policy located at applies to the information we collect through the Pebble by Sidewalk Labs website, the Pebble Web Platform and other Pebble by Sidewalk Labs services we provide, including information we may access through services enabled or integrated by our Pebble Web Platform (the “Services”).

We may change this Mobile Application Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make important or material changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage). Collection of Information

Information You Provide to Us

We collect information you provide directly to us when you download the App, register within the App, or when you contact us. The types of information we may collect include your name, email address, phone number, license plate number, online profile, employment information, product registration number, and any other information you choose to provide.

Information We Collect Automatically

When you use our App, we automatically collect information, including personal information, including:

  • Log Information: We collect log information about your use of App, including the type of device you use, access times, and, when you are in a Smart Zone, your location.
  • Information Collected by Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies: We use various technologies to collect information, including cookies and web beacons. Cookies are small data files stored in your device memory that help the App provide its functions, improve the App performance and your experience, and gather information about the services that the App provides.
  • Location Information: We may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location in order to help you find Smart Zones and other curb locations, and to determine the Smart Zones you use in connection with the App. We will not share your current location with other users or advertisers.

Information We Collect From Other Sources

We may also obtain information from other sources, including from your employer or the company that engages you as a contractor, from municipalities with whom we partner, and through third party applications using our Services, and combine that with information we collect under this Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy does not cover the information practices of third parties and we are not responsible for third parties’ collection, use, processing or disclosure of your information.

Use of Information

We may use the information we collect via our App as follows:

  • To help cities operate and expand their Smart Zone programs;
  • Provide you with the functionality of the App;
  • Improve our App and the Services;
  • Respond to your comments, questions or requests;
  • Detect, investigate and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities, protect our and others’ rights and property, and enforce our user agreements;
  • Communicate with you about news and information we think will be of interest to you; and
  • Monitor and analyze trends, usage and activities in connection with use of our App.

Sharing of Information

We may share information about individuals as follows:

  • with the organization, municipality, or employer that has authorized you to use the App;
  • with cities or other municipal organizations for the purpose of tracking the use of Smart Zones;
  • with our affiliates;
  • with service providers who access this information to carry out work or the Services on our behalf;
  • in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, spin out, divestment or other corporate restructuring, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company;
  • with other companies, organizations or individuals outside if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:
    • meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request;
    • detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues;

We may also share aggregated or de-identified information.

Retention of Information, Security

We will retain your information for as long as you use the App and for a reasonable time thereafter, or for as long as applicable law permits.

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

Your Choices

Promotional Communications

You may opt out of receiving promotional emails or text messages from us by following the instructions in those emails or text messages. If you have opted out to receive promotional communications, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about our ongoing business relations.

We also comply with other requests when required by applicable law. For instance, depending upon where you reside, you may have a right to obtain a copy of your personal information that we possess and to have it corrected if it is inaccurate.
